Having more than 25 - year legal practice, Mr. Furman provided legal support to a number of major investment projects, restructuring of holding companies, forced and voluntary liquidation of companies. Vladimir coordinated and supervised work of permanent and temporary groups of lawyers formed for rendering assistance in finding complex solutions for foreign and local companies in various areas of Kazakh law.
Vladimir has significant experience in restructuring of debt, elaboration of schemes for settlement of complex disputes out of court and participation in settlement of such disputes. He has considerable experience in arbitration and litigation on disputes relating to tax issues, transportation, corporate and labor issues, real estate, telecommunications and other areas.
Previously, Mr. Furman was engaged in private legal practice and was one of the initiators of establishment of the Union of Barristers of the Republic of Kazakhstan in 1992.
Mr. Furman is a head of International Arbitration and Dispute Resolution practice in our firm.
